I love brunches because it gives me the feeling of having my life together , I wake up early enough to get ready for the day and most of the time I have to leave the house anyway to get things done and the best way to motivate myself to actually leave the house is to meet my friends and family for a brunch first!
MY FAVOURITE BRUNCH PLACES
I. THE VICTORIAN HOUSE
Not only is The Victorian House the nearest one from my home, it is also my top favourite one. I love the interior and the British vibes this restaurant gives me. On rainy days I love to sit on the big couches and drink tea with my friends and talk about life. On sunny days I sit with them outside, there is a little terrace outside which is enclosed with green and still tranquil, even if it’s on the street side. They have a big menu with a lot of dishes and an even bigger range of tea to choose from.
Located in one of the beautiful places in Munich, Cotidiano is almost always crowded, it is better to make a reservation there. This year they opened a further location in Schwabing, it’s very central but I prefer the one at Gärtnerplatz.
III. THE WHITE RABBITS ROOM
The White Rabbits Room was established after the concept of the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. You only get 2 hours to brunch there, but they have delicious food there and probably the most beautiful interior, it is super girly in my opinion but I love it! You can read more about it here.
IV. TRIBECA CAFÉ
The Tribeca Café is another one with very sweet interior, it gives you the feeling of being in a living room with playful details. Young and old have lunch together, as well as couples, friends and families.
V. CAFÉ WAGNERS
I recently discovered Café Wagners on the internet and their food just blew me away. The interior is very clean and minimalistic and it is located just next to the isar, so you can have your food also to go and enjoy it at the river! I can recommend the Mango- Ananas Bowl, it is delicious! Also their bowls are so beautifully arranged, it is definitely worth an Instagram post!
VI. CAFÉ DADDY LONGLEGS
When I hear ‘Daddy Longlegs’ I always think of a Korean drama, where a girl gets secret letters from someone who cheers her up whenever she feels down. The acai bowls also cheer me up, just looking at the perfect creation makes me feel much better. The bowls may look small, but they are really filling!
VII. HUNGRIGES HERZ
The ‘hungry heart’ is a very pretty name but serves the best food a foodlover can look for! On weekends it’s very crowded and I definitely suggest to make a reservation before you go there. From healthy acai bowls to juicy burgers and crispy pizzas, it has everything for everyone! Oh and I love their ice teas there!
VIII. MR. PANCAKE MUNICH
If you need a hearty or solid breakfast- Mr. Pancake is the place to be. It is very small and serves different kind of pancake options. It might look like it’s not that much, but you will definitely be able to satisfy your hunger. Even though I thought bacon and maple syrup can’t go well together, my pancakes were super juicy, fluffy and delicious!
These are my favorite places to brunch and I always love to discover new places ❤
I love brunching more than dinners I would say, how about you?
